VEST™
For patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery, healing begins when the procedure begins and it continues with every heartbeat that follows. The long-term success of that healing depends on how well the vein graft holds up over time. That’s where the VEST™ comes in.
- A porous external support device placed around saphenous vein grafts during CABG
- Maintains optimal geometry and reduces vein wall stress
- Prevents vein graft dilation and intimal hyperplasia
- Easy-to-use, sterile, and available in a range of sizes
- Designed to integrate into the surgical workflow without adding complexity
For surgeons, VEST™ embodies the spirit of learning and sharing – bringing evidence-based innovation into the operating room. Its intuitive design and fixation-free approach help make it happen efficiently, without disrupting established techniques. For patients, VEST™ offers protection that supports natural healing and long-term cardiovascular health, delivering results that go beyond expectations.

Why VEST?

Vein graft failure
Vein graft disease after CABG is typically dominated by intimal hyperplasia, which predisposes the graft to accelerated atherosclerosis. Arterial pressure, coupled with abnormal flow patterns generated mainly by luminal irregularities, is the main contributor to both focal and diffuse intimal hyperplasia.
Minutes to implant
- Minutes to implant without affecting grafting technique
- No vein graft manipulation after harvesting
- In sit u adjustability to optimise alignment with the vein graft
- No need for fixation by either glue or sutures
